Did you gorge on any (chocolate) sweets, today?

I didn’t get any candy either. The joy of getting older. :(

We have the kids, so my house is overloaded with Easter candy at the moment. I think I had a mini Snickers bar, and that’s it.

I ate 2 cookies, though, and ½ a piece of cheesecake.. so it isn’t like I didn’t gorge. Just not on candy.

Holidays are definitely lack that excitement when you’re not a kid anymore. Easter used to be so exciting, now it’s just another day to catch up on all the stuff I was too lazy to do earlier on in the week. However, my fantastic mother sent me an Easter basket care package that I opened at midnight (hey, I waited until Easter just like she said!). I got some jelly beans, skittles, and the mandatory Peeps and solid milk chocolate bunny amongst other goodies. I already ate the Jelly Bellies and Peeps. I’m now down the haunches on that poor chocolate bunny. So, yes, I definitely gorged myself on candy today. Hey, it’s what Jesus would’ve wanted, right? Here is a virtual Easter basket for you to om nom on.

Craaaap. Now I want to eat candy. I ate so much today, and every little suggestion about food that I’ve heard has just driven me to eat even more. Thanks. :P

I got an easter egg but I gave it away to someone else, because I don;t really like chocolate.

I haven’t yet, but I will be eating a pile of secular chocolate chip cookies later.

No, I will wait at least until tomorrow when the Easter Candy is 50% off, or even longer, when it’s 75% off and then I will have my own private Easter chocolate binge.

No because I did that yesterday. First the Easter Bunny came to my house where he left a bunch of goodies for my nephew. Then before I took my nephew home, we stopped by a friend’s house where the Easter Bunny apparently knew my nephew was also going to be. So we ate some more candy.

My nephew was so excited to learn that the Easter Bunny knows exactly when and where you’re going to be even if it’s not at your own house. Hopefully he actually showed up there this morning!

They must be carefully air dried for 48 hours to attain perfect, stale Peep perfection.

My cousin from Ohio was in town and brought us a bunch of candy from Dietch’s Chocolates. She brought me a peanut butter egg and a bag of the best caramels I’ve ever eaten. She brought my husband a box of caramels covered in chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt. Other than that, I scored some peanut butter cups from the kids baskets, a hand full of Sixlets, a Tootsie Pop and a couple pink Starburst. My gut hurts.

Haha, my husband actually walked by and asked if I stole this out of the kids’s baskets. Look what Fluther did.

Stale peeps are awesome.
I would really love to share some of this candy with any jelly close enough to pry it out of my fat, sticky little fingers.

My parents sent me a box of See’s candies and some jelly beans the other day for Easter. I’ve pretty much been eating them all day :)

Not at all. I just got home from a long trip that involved interrupting my eating schedule in unhealthy ways. I asked the Easter Bunny to skip me this year, because more sweets is not what I need now.

I ate a ton of grapes though!

@nikipedia Good idea. It can be risky to wait until it’s 75% of because whatever good stuff is left goes very quickly and you have to time the 75% sale almost to the second. And Easter is pretty much the last candy holiday until Halloween rolls around again so stock up!

Also, I’m home with my parents for a couple weeks, and they’re on the south beach diet which means I am too. Not only have I not eaten sweets, but all we eat is beans and veggies. I’m hungry, sugar-starved, and farting a lot!

My youngest and I upheld our Easter tradition of nuking a Peep to Ginormous proportions and eating the gooey spoils!

I just got home from work, marking down Easter Candy. Let me tell you, people were creeping that candy at 10:30pm, asking when it would be on sale. Would it be on sale right at midnight? Couldn’t you go ahead and just mark it down? So if you want some good stuff, you better get to the store!
