Can you imagine what I would do if I could do all I can?
Sun Tzu
If you could somehow do all you could do what would you do or be able to do? Get a PhD, swim from Alcatraz, invent a car that runs off air, hike to the South Pole and back? What is “all you can” to you and if executed would it make you better, more sucessful, or happy?

I would write at least one novel. I have a strong desire to do this.
I would keep doing the work I am doing though.
I would buy/build a house overlooking the ocean. I have always felt a strong affinity to the ocean and feel happy and relaxed when I can hear or see the sea.
I would travel much, much more.
I would spend more time just listening and learning from others.
I would do more work with my community. I would like to work with refugees and help them to learn English and to adapt to Australian culture more easily.
I would build half-way houses for young people who have ended up in detention. To try to give them a transition period to get jobs, develop better relationships that might help them to stay on the right path.
I would build accommodation for women and children who need refuge.
I would be a 6’ tennis player, probably hold the #1 spot long enough to set a new record.
Finish my script, start my own film production company and make movies.
Do all I could to learn about as many things as possible. I didn’t go to college so I could focus on my film career immediately after high school, but if I had the time and the money I would take some college courses, if not go to college all together and get a useful degree. Psychology fascinates me. I would probably get a degree in that field. There are a few languages I would really love to learn such as Khmer, Spanish, French and Sign Language. I would definitely want to travel more and learn about other cultures. I would read a lot more. I’m not very well-traveled or well-read and I deeply want to be. I’m not too worried about it though. I’m still young and have plenty of time.
I would do all I could to help certain causes that I really care about: Among other things, Parkinson’s disease, MS and other neurological disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, Cambodia and other countries where sex slavery is widely common, anything to do with animals. Whether it’s donating money or volunteering or anything else I could do to help.
And lastly, I would swing by Lucille’s, pick her up and we would go to The Mall of America and buy at least one item out of every store. We swear that someday we are going to do this.
I’d like to fly without the help of an airplane. :)
@Vunessuh I know a nice pilot who will fly us there. XD
Are you sure this was meant in a positive vein, as in all that I could accomplish, or in a negative vein, as in all I could destroy, enemies I could defeat, etc. I guessing this quote came from The Art of War, and he wasn’t the most gentle of humans.
@Vunessuh I’m not too worried about it though. I’m still young and have plenty of time. Funny a couple of decades ago I though tthat to. Here I am half a buck Chuck (50) and still have not reached a 10th of my original goals. As John Lennon said “Life happens while you are busy making other plans”. Don’t get too comfortable or as Pink Floyd said “You run and you run to catch up with the Sun but its sinking, racing around to come up behind me again. The day is the same in a relative way but your older, shorter a breath one day closer to death”. I guess that is why they say “seize the day”. So seize it, don’t make my mistake and figuring tomorrow way further off than it was. <wink wink>
I don’t think I can imagine that. I’d like to think that I do all I can already, given the constraints of life and my preferences. How could I do more?
If I could do all I imagine I can do- it would be breaking the human limits, learning about how adept is our natural skills. the true Human elements and their emotions.
