If money wasn't an issue, which room/area of your house would you love to remodel?
For me, it’s definitely the kitchen. I would need to blow out the entire back wall of my house to make it bigger. I want more countertop workspace, and cabinets that go all the way to the ceiling. And the one fancy gadget I’d like to splurge on is the little baseboard vacuum that sucks up the floor crumbs when you sweep them near it.

I just bought a brand new apartment, but I’d definitely want to create a huge library within my house. I need an area to complete my work in and store my books. I currently have way too many books and I need somewhere to put them!
I would do my kitchen as well. I’ve been here 30 years and hated the kitchen for 30 years. I’d love to punch out the wall about 12 feet and redo all the cupboards. I got a deal on a black fridge and stove so bought them. They are surrounded by wood cupboards that have faded to almost orange- hell of an effect.
I already did the interior of my house, a few years ago. I need the entire yard re-landscaped. The automatic sprinklers stopped working years ago, and the fences we had replaced when we moved in are falling down.
Just finished building a new house. Now I have to get the outside landscaping done.
@WestRiverrat I hate landscaping with a fiery passion! Have fun with that!
I would want to have a shop or some place to keep all my tools and crap in with room to park my truck inside. It would of course have all the amenities of a typical man cave…to keep my tools in, arr, arr, arr.
All of it?
The bathroom and/or the basement. It’s a toss up. They both need major love.
One room would not be enough.
I am in the midst of this now, but if money were no object, I would completely redo the kitchen. Unfortunately, it cannot be expanded due to the design of the house, but I might completely move it to another larger room we have.
I’d love to smash down a couple of walls & have myself a kick ass games room….oh yeah!
I’d like to enlarge the master bath. We built the home (custom) eight years ago, but my focus was clearly not on the master bath. I want bigger, better, bolder. I want a walk-in closet the size of a small house. Oh yeah!
That is tough question as I just moved into a new home and everything is done up pretty nice as it is. I would probably redo the office and put in some nice built in book shelves and oak trim and crown molding and deck it out with some nice office furniture and computer desk.
I’d like to enlarge the kitchen but he wanted to enclose the patio so guess what’s starting next week? lol but really, this kitchen can’t be made larger.
