What is your favourite? Rings? Earrings? Lockets? Chains?
Personally I have an obsession with rings. ^-^

A ring that’s been in my family since the 1800’s. It’s gorgeous. I love old jewelry :)
It’s silver and it has aqua and black stones in it.
My wedding set. I told myself many years ago that if I never remarried I would buy myself a beautiful ring when I turned 40. As it happens, I did remarry and the ring I have is something that I probably would have chosen then.
Of all jewelry, I prefer rings and necklaces. Bracelets get in my way too easily!

My class ring.
Otherwise, it’s earrings or the Tiffany’s necklace that my Mom got me for my highschool graduation.
A ring my husband bought me for Christmas. It has a birthstone for each of our children. I cherish it.
My favorite would be a tie between a ring that has been in my family for several generations now, my wedding set, and the ruby ring my husband got me for Christmas.
My favorite type of jewelry to wear though is dangly earrings.
My class ring, my father took me to pick it out and he insisted I get the one I got because he liked it as well. He passed away a year and a month after the ring came in and it feels like something special to me sort of like a part of him is with me when I wear it.
My 2 silver rings. Very plain and simple and very dear to me.
The sparkle in a pretty woman’s eye. Jewelry is gaudy.
My wedding ring.
A gold bracelet given to me by hubby on our wedding day.
A gold anklet my daughter gave me.
I have a crucifix necklace that my grandmother gave to me. That’s the only jewelry I wear, unless a watch counts…but its not metal or crystal or anything. just velcro
My favorite jewelry are two copper wrist cuffs given me by my grandmother’s oldest sister, they were an anniversary present from her husband somewhere between 1925 and 1935 (they argued the years). One is stamped with geometric designs and the other a floral motif.
My favorite jewelry to collect are pairs of earrings, I even dream up designs for them.
I like sillicon bracelets, like Live Strong. I collect them.
Anybody wanna swap/donate with me? PM me.
I love my wedding band and diamond. I love a piece of wrist jewelry my first husband bought that is like a tennis bracelet that you personalize. The diamonds are bought individually for special occasions. It is really beautiful but you have to know a real jeweler to put in the rocks and make additions. I’m still waiting on a few more special moment stones.
Necklaces. Maybe it makes me egotistical, but specifically I prefer ones I’ve made myself. :)
Sometimes I wear my old palate expander around my neck.
Tungsten Cobalt alloy ring with a Tungsten Carbide core. I’m out to f*** someone up.
Is a black plastic sports watch jewelry? If so then it is the only jewelry that I wear but I love it, love it, love it!

Long necklaces and my great grandmothers ring.
My pearl necklace and earrings. They were a 10th anniversary gift.
My favorite for now is a Y necklace by Lucky brand. For those who don’t know what that is, it kind of looks like a rosary. It has black (that is, dk grey) pearls interspersed with tiny purple beads and silver chain. The pearls are those irregularly shaped round ones they call potato pearls. On the end there is an antique brass charm of a feather and a tiny little oval charm that is inscribed with the word love. At the top of the Y dangle there is a teeny tiny gold cross. It also has a few faceted jet beads. This necklace looks so good with so many things. That’s why it has become my favorite. It was a gift from my husband.
@Earthgirl you should sell for the Lucky brand. It sounds absolutely gorgeous. I may have seen one the other day at the Mexican restaurant that someone was using as a Rosary. Beautiful.
bkcunningham I would love to work for Lucky brand, lol. Lucky Brand and Anthropologie are 2 of my favorite brands. I love the whole bohemian, floksy, world culture, arts and crafts aesthetic. The pearl necklace couldn’t be used for a rosary because the beads on it are irregularly spaced, that is, asymetrical from left to right side and also from top to bottom. It is one of the many charms of the piece. For a short while I was doing jewelry design and trying to start my own business on the side. I didn’t have enough time to devote to it but I still have a lot of beads and findings. Enough to make a lot of jewelry. I have been thinking of doing some designs to put on Etsy. I need to get off my butt and just do it!
Mariah The ones you make yourself fit perfectly to your taste! What could be better than custom made? What types of stones or beads do you like? Do you string them, use chain or what? Did you ever take any classes in casting pieces? I do only beaded pieces, mostly with glass, pearls or semi-precious stones.
@Earthgirl My absolute favorites are the earthy stone beads. I used to just string, but I got bored with that and do all kinds of crazy stuff now. Recently, I’ve gotten really into working with wire which is challenging, I have a lot to learn. I’ve never taken any classes, no, although I would LOVE to! I dream of learning to handblow glass, or make dichroic glass.
Mariah I love dichroic glass too and lampwork beads are like candy to me! They seem like they’d be so fun to make too.
Nice :D Loving all of the answers.
