probably. And you may not even know it. Check out Harvard’s Project Implicit

Most likely. Some people worse than others, and I really believe that anyone who denies it is.. well… in denial. The best we can do is acknowledge them, if they are hurtful, and try to deal with them.

Everyone has prejudices, it is impossible to grow to adulthood without them. How you deal with your prejudice is the key to living in a polite multicultural society.

to varying extent, yes. And anyone who says no is lying to themselves and clearly think that their shit doesn’t stink

Prejudices. I would say everyone has some generalizations in their heads. But certainly not everyone takes these ideas and prejudges an individual they meet. I think most people meet each individual and get to know them as a person.

I wouldn’t want to lay claim to any global statement about all people. The likelihood is just too high that there will be one exception.

I wouldn’t put it as “prejudice against one group or another”, but rather, most groups (tribes, clans, nations) fear the unknown and the different. That’s why education and exposure to others is important, reduce and allay fears.

I don’t have any prejudices at all.

Except for ugly people and short people. Short ugly people especially.

The prejudice others is one ideal to protect your beliefs and your life also. I know it shouldn’t being prejudice if you don’t really know the whole stories/experience about other group(s). They usually preasume before prejudices to use the protection for themselves. Basic concept of your question, do all peope does prejudices, I going to say yes; but at same-time they can advoid by self evaluted to not do prejudices.

My define of group from your question: form people as same beliefs, styles, lifehood, or etcs. For example there a group as math geek or jock.

To different degrees. I know for me it isn’t race or color that I find myself biased against. I find ignorant people most offensive and I have no real desire to improve upon that predjudice. The same goes for rapisist, abusers and any violent offender whos only desire is to hurt others. I have tried to educate myself as to why some people do the things they do but I still don’t want them living next door to me or around anyone I care for.

I think all people probably have immediate prejudices against one group or another, but I think that plenty of people with prejudices can and will eventually get to know and like people in groups they are initially prejudiced toards. I also think it’s harder for us to identify prejudices we have towards people who aren’t usually considered a “protected class” for example less attractive people or people who look or sound like someone who you’ve had a bad experience with.

Yeah, I hate whites and mexicans and…....Errrr….
But yes, conditions we’re exposed to have caused most people to have some type of prejudice or bias. If it’s not people, it’s a food, piece of furniture etc.

Unfortunately, yes. There’s a lot of unconscious bias we are not even aware of, circuitry at work deep inside our brain. But our conscious mind can keep fighting this. And it should.

I don’t know how many people checked it out but the Harvard Project Intui linked in my earlier answer can reveal shocking results—results from your subconscious that might totally belie all your conscious beliefs.

They concentrate on questions about racial bias, socioeconomic bias, age bias, cultural bias but might even ask a question about preferring smokers to non-smokers.

I was very surprised by some results that contradicted my espoused beliefs and life choices and had to look into the culture surrounding me as a small child to figure them out.
