If you could be a different person, who would you be?
I know it’s an odd question, but sometimes I think of myself as adifferent human being, if anything another life form. I just wanted to know what others opinions were.

In my case, I wouldn’t want another persons life. I wouldn’t mind being my dog (minus the licking of privates). My children think he gets treated like a king.
Oh, I think it would be a wonderful ability to be able to lick my own privates (but I guess I’ll have to settle for licking women’s privates…)
Kate Middleton.
That lucky girl.
I’m thinking that it would be nice to be a house cat in a loving home.
I agree with @Kardamom. If I were a cat I’d be curled up on the toasty water bed, listening to the rain without feeling an ounce of guilt. I certainly would be feeling guilty because I really need to get busy and sand the bedroom walls where I repaired sheet rock.
@Kardamom – Right. If I had to be an animal, I’d rather be a house cat than anything else. A dog has to wait to be let out to poo and I’d hate that.
I wouldn’t mind being Lady Gaga for a little while ;)
Either Kate Middleton or one of our dogs. Kate will be Queen; the dogs , however, don’t worry about how they look or act. (-:
I’d be me @ 31, pregnant as I was, having a very intense talk with my husband about sex, drinking and drugs. Oh, and I know then what I know now.
My 14 yr old son. He has it all going for him…smart, handsome and young!
@Cruiser that because he took after his handsome dad….
@creative1 Thanks…really, but his kid has broken the mold and is doing things at his age I never dreamed of. If I worked ½ as hard as he does, I would be drop dean exhausted!
@Cruiser Applause for you, Dad!! He sure didn’t get that way for no reason!
@Cruiser It was the way in which you raised him, if he didn’t have the guidence and support of his parents he would never have become the kid he is today… Your giving him all the tools he needs to suceed and exceed in life.
I’ll have to pass on If I could be a different person, I want to stay who I am. You never know what misery is going to befall another person; Hell! I don’t know what misery I might be doomed for, so I’ll stay who I am…thank you.:0)
I agree- I’d want to be me but there are things in my life I wish I could get a “do-over” on. If I could got back to being 28, with my current wisdom, I think that’d take care of most of the “do-overs.” :)
I wouldn’t mind experimenting for a day or two the life of Liam Neeson.
I’d choose to be only myself. I’ve never had a desire to go and be someone else. Though if there’s such a thing as reincarnation, I’m going to come back as a piece of grass, that way there’s an excuse for some of the things that go on with me.
I like the cat idea. Lying around on beds and pillows all day while I get fed.
Or be a stray, duking it out with other cats in alleys all night, eating out of the garbage and having sex with other strays. Man that’s the life!
My cat whines all the time and he has the life of a pampered prince. Meooow, meeeeeeeeeeow, meeeooooooooooooow! Far out. Spoiled critter. He doesn’t like having to share us or the house with the dogs. They are after all….dogs.
I think I would prefer to stay as me.
I spent entirely too much time and effort getting here and I have NO desire to be anyone else. : ))
I would be the person I should have been and would have been if I’d made just one or two different life choices. Above all I would have continued my education. It still kind of kills me that I gave it up for a man. Which was more replaceable, the PhD-track academic career or the boyfriend? Damn.
Still, I’m not sorry to be where I am or with who I’m with (which is not the person I quit school for). I just wish I’d had better sense when I was 24 than to believe I had to choose between the two.
I’m with Jeruba; I’d be the person I am but having made the choices I would have made if I hadn’t had low self-esteem and a history of abuse to overcome.
OK then. I’d like to be Jeruba!
Spongebob’s friend Patrick.
Although like Patrick I don’t have a job either, I’d love to have his physical resiliency.
If I had to pick someone, anyone, not myself, just for one day… Padme Naberrie.
Hi! Just now saw your question! Why NOT Priscilla? She was married to my first idol and the idol of millions of people; she’s gorgeous inside and out; except for her top lip she has the mansion to sleep in, visit, with all those memories; she’s kind, crazy about her daughter—and she pays the bills with no problem.
So why Not Priscilla? I think she has led an extremely exciting life. Not ordinary or mundane. And she appears to be quite healthy and her parents adored her. I mean…why not?
I’d just like to be a regular ordinary nice intelligent person a Teacher or Nurse.Living a regular ordinary life.I’d like to be Japanese and a good Buddhist and live in the suburbs of Kyoto.
