One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest – really emotional, about people with mental illnesses.
Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee – teaches a lot about the Native Indians; a moving story too in my opinion.
Hotel Rwanda – so shocking, about some genocide in Africa.
Pearl Harbor – well, title says it all. Touching love story too, but that doesn’t distract from the main topic.
The Elephant Man – taught me to look beyond appearances.
The Great Dictator – great speech about war at the end.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame – any adaptation, though personally I prefer Disney’s (it’s got a good soundtrack xD) see Elephant Man ;)
Forrest Gump – about mental illness. Sad yet informative.
Castaway – taught me belongings aren’t everything…I guess. xD

@LILOU you have chosen the list that I would like to describe “the perfect package”. Altough there are some movies that didn’t change my way of seeing the world but they were impressing. I would like to add a movie witch is “Sweet November” even if it ends with a sad story but I was touched by this movie.
