Do you ever go to post a question, look it over carefully, hit the final "Ask Fluther" button and instantly go "O shit!" because there is a major error you just saw at the same instant before it posted?

Just wondering if it was just me…

No, because I can edit it for several minutes.

All the time because I don’t edit enough! I wish I was as disciplined as @MyNewtBoobs but I am not.

Indeed you can edit it but a lot of times I see my errors while posting it ^^

I don’t do that. I actually find a better way to word it (my English is pretty bad sometimes and they sound hilarious when I don’t edit them) and I end up editing it about twice.

It’s happened once or twice. For this reason, I am ever grateful that Fluther allows us to edit for a few minutes after we post. Unfortunately, I don’t normally see the errors that I missed in my initial careful editing until I come back several hours later and can no longer edit it. Then it drives me crazy.

I never notice the error until it’s too late to edit. I’ve asked Auggie more than once to go back and edit my boo-boos, and, as I recall, I still owe her some dishwashing services for doing that… I just get so excited!

I mostly read over my questions pretty carefully before I post them the first time. Of course, sometimes I’m rushed, and I don’t proofread, and there are always errors. Always.

I always see it just as I hit “Ask Fluther…” I know I have several minutes afterward to edit, and I do so, but it seems like there is something about “committing” that puts my reading eyes and stuff into high gear! I’ll have read the thing 5 times before, and missed that one thing until I post….but yes. Then I do have the chance to edit after that.
