What is your desktop background and what does it say about you?
Mine is this – I love this picture.
I guess that it says that I love cats… and I do, because I have three of them.
What about you? You can take a screenshot if you want, or you can find the picture again. If you don’t know how to take a screenshot on your computer, look here, for Mac OSX and upload it to a site like tinypic, or imageshack.
In Windows just follow those easy steps and then upload it!

That picture makes my heart want to stop. Yikes!
Mine is set to scroll through a folder of pics of the kids, so it changes to a different photo every minute. I’m not sure what that says about me, maybe that I love my stepsons. Maybe that I’m family oriented. I would add a screenshot, but since the picture is constantly changing that is a little bit senseless.
Oddly enough, I’m still using the default Windows 7 background on both of my machines. I don’t know what this says about me, as I’ve had different desktop backgrounds in the past, but if I had to hazard a guess I’d say I value function over form. It’s the engineer in me.
Mine is a picture of Skye Terriers, they are my favourite breed of dog.
I have a picture of my son standing next to my car as a tornado passes by behind him. It says I like crazy ass weather?? Plus there is file folder with a slew of Frank Zappa songs I suppose that means I am a Zappa fan.

At home, it’s a picture of my wife on the beach in Hawaii holding a coconut she found when we were there this winter. At work, it’s a picture I took of the trail I’m on snaking its way through a meadow with the snow-capped Rockies all around.
Wow, when I read that, I sound like a douche. I’m really not, I hope
I want it to say that I enjoy photography and like to travel. I’d rather have a picture I took myself of something interesting because it will keep me on the lookout for interesting sights.

I have it cycling through pictures that someone took on a bike ride in Japan. Before that, it was cycling through pictures relating to the Harry Potter movie. I guess those say that I like nature and books about wizardry?

It’s actually quite funny that I found this question when I did. I use www.interfacelift.com as a great place to find wallpapers. Right now, my wallpaper is a beautiful photograph of two jellyfish from the Baltimore Aquarium. Eerie…..
