I sat through as much of iPhone SDK presentation as I could stomach, and I’m excited to see some of that stuff that was hinted at. Maybe especially excited for a chat client that works in the background. Is it June that Apple is releasing the SDK. Or June that we’ll start seeing applications appear?

The SDK has already been released. The new iPhone firmware that will utilize the SDK and allow applications to be installed/purchased will be released in June.
Cool! June is fast approaching. Has anything been confirmed yet, or is it all speculation still?
…Still beta testing 2.0 firmware… It is on schedule…
The Electronics Art game Spore has been confirmed, so has an AIM client. Things are starting to come along though. The new firmware also adds Exchange support, parental controls. Im sure the apple site has more info on that if you’re interested.
That’s exciting. It had never occurred to me that mobile phones were cutting edge technology, but now that I own my iPhone I certainly see the potential. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for June.
Make sure to check out the growing number of web apps made for the iPhone that work through Safari. Fluther has its own, as does Facebook, Zoho Office, and a ton of others that don’t require you to jailbreak your phone to get the most out of it.
Here’s a list of the stuff that they are planning to come out with.
Um. . . . er. . . . That’s not what I thought it was going to be. Have I been fooled?
nice, so my iPhone might be able to do something aside from only surf the net and make calls? Wow! About time I say.
@thecoot, I have a bunch of web apps that I use frequently. Flutter, Facebook, and Twitteriffic being my favorites.
