I just wonder if any agreement they could come to, will actually take. The whole area there has trouble. Darfur, etc. I wish some sort of order could work. There are so many people in need in that part of the world.
You mean the treaty between ethnic Arab Muslims and everyone else. They have been having a religious war with ethnic cleansing, rape, and destruction.
I think it is an excellent idea to separate the factions but it seems a shame that the colonialist get half of the country and the original residents are effectively placed on a reservation I hope it works but the Northerner’s religion and tradition will probably keep them fighting long after the treaty is signed.
George Clooney for VP of USA.
It’s a remarkable step towards democracy and freedom in the region.
I donĀ“t know.. the South gets all the oil. Is that fair?
I will always support any people that stand up and say we don’t want to be ruled by religious dogma especially when it is used like the present government of Sudan to simply stay in power at all costs. It’s a dictatorship and I hold proportional representation as one of the most important principals any nation should hold, to the point where that proportional representation doesn’t turn into mob rule.
