Crap @Jude your story so closely resembles my own and we’re the same age. My mom passed away in 2008 and my family has fallen apart and I’m the one trying to convince everyone to at least talk. But I’m the middle child.

I don’t think my mom would be too fond of the idea. I wouldn’t feel right without her approval. How about a baby pic of myself instead?

My mom wouldn’t like it, so nope, I won’t do it. My mom doesn’t really like having her picture taken or put up on display and neither do I, so I wouldn’t do something that I knew she wouldn’t really like.

My mom is a wonderful woman and a great grandmother (well nana) to her grandchildren. She has been there for me when I needed her in many ways. She was tough when necessary, but always loving. She helped me a lot when I was in nursing school (since I was a single mom at the time, she watched my son a lot so I could go to school and work). If it weren’t for her (and her husband), I don’t know if I would have finished nursing school.

I could go on and on…

Okay, I can’t do it. I just answered a cucumber dildo question and felt really awkward with my mother staring at me… You get me as a nekked baby instead.

Just talked to my Mom sister (one whom she was the closet to). Made me feel good.

Found a real cute one! I’ve said less-than-positive things about my family in a few recent q’s, but there are so many awesome things about them and mother’s day is definitely a time to focus on the positive. I’m in the red dress.
