It’s a website that lets you know the pre-requisites of each college. If you know how to read it please send me a message so I can ask you a few very important questions! I’m signing up for classes on Monday. I need someone who is confident about it, not “thinks” they got it.
I would ask a councelor but it’s friday, not open til monday which is when i choose classes, and I have to choose classes right when my registration time hits because everyone is going to fill up the classes especially with the budget cuts.

First of all, what year are you? And what is your major?
Assist.org tells you if your credits are accepted from one university to another; it does not tell you if your credit hours will apply towards the major you intending to work towards. In other words, it tells you in general if a credit will transfer or not. It doesn’t tell you if it will apply to your major.
If you a a transfer student at a new university, you really need to go through advising so you don’t waste your money or your time. I am saying this as a parent of a child that has changed universities twice, enrolling at the third one this week. Having classes fill up is less of a problem than taking the wrong classes.
@BarnacleBill I know it’s just one question I have, I already talked to a councelor and they set everything up but I just have a question. And right now I’m going to a community college transfering to a UC next fall.
@jabag11, that’s exactly what my daughter’s doing. She called and made the counseling appointment, and they told her exactly what transferred and what she needed for her major. Of the 5 classes she’s taking, only 1 was what she knew on her own that she needed to take for her major. Two classes transferred that assist.org said wouldn’t transfer, and it turns out that one class that the community college said she needed in order to transfer, she didn’t. They took this semester’s account in scheduling, but didn’t when figuring out her acceptance into her major. She will have to go back to advising next semester and have them look at her grades from this semester in order to be admitted to her major. But, she only has 3 semesters plus an internship, and she will be finished, which surprised her.
I know pretty much everything about that website so if you still have your question message me, I would love to help.
