I'm all up for Slut Walks are you?

A woman should be able to walk around naked without fear of being raped, so YES I am in favor of SlutWalks… Rape is not about how a woman dresses its a problem with how the man is wired and thinks about sex and needing force in order to get it. A woman could be covered head to toe and still be the victim of rape, it still happens in the muslim countries where the women wear a Hijab

This could be a great campaign against men who hate and blame women for supposedly “inciting” or “provoking” sexual desire in men through free self expression. In reality though not all men who disagree with this kind of self expression hate women. A lot of them have genuine concern that a woman is more exposed to risk of being victimized when dressing up heavily sexy. That is just reality.

Count me in! If anyone so desires, feel free to have one in my ‘hood.

@mazingerz88 Some of them do really care, but the problem is that they still put the responsibility on women instead of on rapists. Plus, it’s a fairly patronizing view to think that you need to protect me from the evil rapists, because I can’t protect myself. So hate may not be the right word, but it’s not coming from a really flattering, respectful place.

Anyone who thinks that a woman is the cause of her own rape is an idiot. Slut walks also sound hot.
