How many balloons would make you happy and in what colors?
If you liked balloons as a child, does it still make you smile everytime you see one? And would you still love to hold one or how many is it that would make you smile holding it and how many? What colors would you like? Has a balloon ever make you cry and why?

One red balloon would be nice, but a bunch in all the primary colors would be nicer:...just enough to launch my lawn chair and I for a quick tour of the neighborhood.;)
I did cry once when I let go of a balloon at the circus.I was 28,I mean 3 years old and was told to snap out of it.
They still make me happy :)
One purple one would do me wonders.
Zero. I have a bit of a phobia about them.
They’re just balloons lol…..Although I would like to jump into a large pile of balloons, the color doesn’t matter.
A bouquet of yellow balloons with no clown attached.
I cried when my dad continued to blow up a balloon until it popped. He did it on purpose and I really liked that balloon. Stupid dad.
Ever since the movie It I’ve been scared of clowns and balloons.
One balloon would be enough if it was from the right person, and the color doesn’t matter at all.
99 luft balloons or 2 bizarrely shaped ones that shot rockets. Yes, that would make me happy.
I cried when husband and I released 50 purple and white balloons on our wedding day in the Poconos.
@lucillelucillelucille 3, 28, 50…. whatever age, if it were me, I would cry if I lost a balloon:D
I want half a balloon! Is that possible? Seriously, I want to hold 100 balloons in assorted colors, something I did not do as a kid. I never held enough balloons not to make me cry, ever!
Accidentally popping or letting go of your balloon ranks up high in childhood traumas along with having your ice cream fall off the cone.
@Adirondackwannabe LOL! I know several people the movie IT has traumatized. You can’t pay my sister stand by a sewer grate and my daughter is very leery of clowns.
Oh just the one, it has to be the size of a small family car though & it must be red. So that when i’m hugging it my cheeks will glow, as if I was blushing & shit XD
One Bright Green One would make me smile!!
Wow I just realized i want 20 orange balloons!
@WestRiverrat : I totally agree that one ballon from the right person in the right situation could definately be smile or swoon worthy regardless of ballon appearance.
However, I think I would also be delighted by a large (30+) bunch of ballons.Various shapes, and only solid colors.
And for some reason, I’m not a fan of the silver mylar ballons. They do nothing for me.
@missafantastico I’m not a fan of mylar either. They’re phony balloons. Cheaters!
I’ll take one hot air balloon of virtually any color. That would make me smile.
I haven’t had anything to do with balloons in a really long time. When I was younger I’d always worry about losing it if I let it go, but I guess that’s normal. I’d want pink, purple, blue and green balloons, and maybe some white ones in the shape of an archway. How on earth do people make that work? It’s pretty impressive.
One balloon, orange in colour, and if I can just get it to stick to the ceiling I’ll be happy.
I always loved the baloons at Disneyland that had the mouse ears on them like these
I would like one in pink. One is plenty, but I like to see the baloon vendor carrying a bunch of them like in the photo.
A white one! Just one white one! C:
A dozen, all colors of the rainbow.
This question makes me want to tie a bunch of balloons to my front porch, just for fun. Everyone will imagine we’re celebrating something, and we are! The fabulousness that is balloons! Lots of very bright colors, please.
Thanks, @Blueroses let’s see if I can post the Micky Mouse Balloons correctly this time.
Those beautiful bacteria were left over from a question needing an image that promotes the lack of religion.

Definitely the quote of the day for me! Lol. : )
Bunch of yellow ones. [ no number because eventually they start to pop and i don’t want to get new ones ]
And indeed I still smile when i see balloons.
I love balloons. They say every man has his price. People who know me well know that mine can be calculated in balloons.
Just one will make me smile. A big round helium one especially. In bright sunny yellow, or ocean blue, or purple. Yes, purple, that’s it. Oh, and pearly. I love the pearly finish. White is nice too. Or maybe emerald green, or sassy copper. Silver! Gold! Let’s have one shaped like a maple leaf, or a buttterfly, a squid, maybe a duck. A daisy, a Christmas tree, a donkey. Edgar Allen Poe. A caterpillar.
There’s no such thing as too many balloons. Blow up forty in all colors and we’ll bap them around the living room. Give me helium balloons in clusters of five, with weights, and I’ll put them indoors and out. Make a rainbow arch of a hundred over my house and I’ll know I’m having the birthday party of a lifetime. Bring me balloons! I’m yours.
But . . . you already knew this about me, didn’t you?

Has a balloon ever made me cry? Well, nearly, but only because I was delighted. For a certain (ahem) birthday, my husband gave me two balloons that said 30 on them.
