If you could create a music playlist for your life, what songs would be on it?

Asked by KateTheGreat (13640points) May 9th, 2011

I create playlists all of the time. Ones for certain friends, moods, and periods of my life.

I’m trying to construct a “life playlist” for myself at the moment. What songs would you put on yours? What songs can you relate to certain periods of you life?

For the early years when my parents were still in their grunge phase, this.
For most of elementary to early teens when I liked boy bands, this and that.
For my angsty teen years, this, this, and maybe some of this.
And for late high school into my current state, this, this, this, this, and finally, this wonderful guy.

This is basically a playlist of what my musical tastes were like at a given point in my life. It’s nowhere near all that I could put down, but I put down songs that I feel sort of define me at that point in my life.

My, my. Most of you have a fabulous taste in music!

@etignotasanimum It seems as we went through the same exact music as a teenager.

@KatetheGreat Lol, that’s really cool. Everyone who I know who liked those bands at the same time tell me that those bands sort of define how they felt at that time. I’m thinking it might be some sort of thing a lot of people our age have in common.
