Because everyone wants to fall in love at some point. Why would you just single out fools? Are you trying to say they shouldn’t be allowed to fall in love? That’s a little rude. Equality to all!

If you’d like to be a little more specific maybe I could help you a little more.

you can’t really help who you fall in love with.
Are you calling them “fools” because of hearing it from a quote or song!??
I can be foolish at times over my boyfriend, I admit. But I’m no foo!

Why do birds sing so gay? and lovers awake at the break of day?
why does the rain fall from above? why do they fall in luh-huv?
why does my heart/skip a crazy beat?
because I know-oh oh/ it will end in defeat, tell me whyEYE, tell me why-eye-eye,
why do they fall in luh-hove? why,
do fools,
fall in LOOOOOOOOOOVE? I can sing it too, with falsetto in all the right places.

Because everyone has a right to fall in love – the beautiful thing about love is that it doesn’t discriminate…

omg you kids who have never heard this wonderful song, by Frankie Lymon around l950 or something. It’s so great. Go find it.

It’s nice for you to stick up for “fools” but… really, this probably wasn’t a question
asking for an explanation of human rights.

pfffff no offense susan but pretty much everyone knows that song… I figured it was a rhetorical question that could use a smart-ass answer

@nocountry; you would be amazed at what some of the younger generation do not know. Just as I know nothing about contemporary music.

And some of the s/a answers I find pretty silly…but that is just my opinion..

Too true, Gail…especially when it comes to the original sources of samples featured in “new” songs…

Yeah, I’m 21 and I don’t know that paticular song. It’s cool though, it doesn’t sound much like my style anyways. I thought the question had a deeper meaning about either keithbarbour or someone keithbarbour knows falling in love but being a fool about it or something.

It was a typical slow-dancing prom music kind of song in the 50’s, before there was sex, drugs and rock-and-roll.

But do you LIKE it.
