Um, that’s pretty much it.

Nope. I kind of hate it when people ask rhetorical questions. What’s the point of opening your mouth if you didn’t want a response anyway? But I think we all do it, but I’m more on the side of not asking them than hating that they were answered.

Do you mean in everyday conversation? It doesn’t bother me because rhetorical questions usually suck so they deserve whatever response they get.

Is this a rhetorical question?

No…it just gives me another reason to use my taser! I love using that thing and need more reasons!! I wonder what that really feels like??

I like questions about dinosaurs….....oh shit!!

I usually take it as a sign they are missing something mentally, nothing terribly serious, just a missing note. The same with people who respond to a lecturer as if the lecturer as if he/she was talking to them specifically instead of to the whole room of people.

@Blackberry “I kind of hate it when people ask rhetorical questions. What’s the point of opening your mouth if you didn’t want a response anyway?”

You should quote the source if you’re going to plagiarize. Obviously this was lifted from the Meriam Webster definition of “irony”.

Only when I’m the one asking the question. Don’t you hate it when people answer a question with a question? ;-0

@Fiddle_Playing_Creole_Bastard So… you think this question was written to be answered?

You won’t learn anything if you don’t ask!

TexasDude's avatar

@6rant6, well it certainly wasn’t ignored. ...or modded.

Yes. If they do on accident, then they should be more wiser as to take into consideration that it was rhetorical.

Yes I do… but then again… I do that sometimes too. Me and my friends are all idiots, we like to wind each other up ;)

@Cruiser Don’t taze me, bro!

Just what exactly is the point of this question?

6rant6's avatar

@ladymia69 I’m supposed to have a point?

Ladymia69's avatar

I am just kidding. It was a shitty shot at a rhetorical question or something. Carry on.:)

I really just wanted to tell Cruiser not to taze me.
