After looking at an old question, have you ever given a GQ or GA ?
Sometimes I look to see if someone has already asked a particular question. If they have asked it (or something similar), I will read the responses. Have you ever done this and then given a Good Question or Good Answer on the old question?

Yes, I do. If it was a good answer or question when it was asked why wouldn’t it be a GA or GQ now, history related issues aside?
Yes, I have why not if you find it good then you should mark it good.
Yes…just about every day.
I never look at old questions, but I get a fair amount of GA’s from old questions. Seems a fairly regular practice.
Yeah—I’ve been wondering how people find old questions. I never have time to go looking backward, and even if I did, what would I look for?
Yes, I have multiple times. It’s pretty neat to see what was going on a year or two ago on Fluther.
Edited to add to wundayatta’s new question.
I think that most appreciate a good answer if they are still following that question.
Sometimes enlightenment can come after a while.
@all Thanks for the responses. I have been doing this, but wondered if it was common.
@wundayatta Usually when I check out an old question it’s because it has shown up in the siblings and it interests me or I want to read what some former Jellies have said.
Oh, yes, frequently. The age of a question or comment has no bearing on my impulse to applaud.
I also fairly often receive points on an old post of mine.
Absolutely. I find them in the “Siblings” section and wonder, “How did I miss this? This is a great question!” Then I lurve accordingly.
I do it often. Sometimes I catch myself giving GQ/GA to people that aren’t even members anymore.
Yes! Just like ^^^.
I enjoy it when someone does it for me, too.
Most of the time, I get interested in the question and only look at the posted date if someone questions why I took so long to respond.
