I’m looking for a good camera comparison site. Any opinions on the Nikon d300s and d7000?

Well I’m a Sony/Minolta guy. But everything I’ve read makes the d7000 far outclass the D300s for resolution and video quality. The D300s has a slightly better AF system. Both fine cameras any way you look at them.
For my money though, the Sony A55 eats them both alive in every category. Their translucent mirror technology is about to change the entire industry. Nothing from Nikon or Canon or anyone else can compete, especially in the AF for video and maximum 10 frames per second with full predictive AF for stills. The EVF viewfinder may be unconventional, but it’s very accurate.
Wait till early August and get the incredible 25mp Sony A77 or the Sony NEX 7.
As a self employed photographer for 30 years, I shoot with a Sony a900 and an assortment of 20 year old vintage Minolta lenses. Sony bought the Minolta camera line a few years ago, and all the legacy Maxxum gear is compatible. It’s not for everyone. But for me, the ability to use the unique Maxxum glass is deal maker.
I’ve been through Nikon, Canon, Olympus, Leica, Contax, Hasselblad and Fuji over the years. But I keep coming back to Sony/Minolta because of the feature sets and the ability to use the old lenses.
There are many..but I find dpreview, digital camera review photographyreview.com the best for such a kind of use..

@RealEyesRealizeRealLies I’m definitely settled on the d7000, but (Wow) that A55 is incredible!.. too bad I have only Nikon lenses. I have even heard about Sony patenting some of their their technology to Nikon which to me is incredible…. Also thanks everyone for the slew of sites!
