@noelleptc that’s so interesting, I just bought Twinings Gunpowder Green Tea but I didn’t pay attention to the Gunpowder on the label, all I read was green tea. Now I can’t wait to try it after I finish up the open box of Tazo Chinese Green Tea. veddy inter-resting!
Dandelion tea has the best combination of cost, health benefits and taste, especially if you add a little honey.

Lapsang souchong’s smokey flavor is really interesting and always surprising to me.
And @Only138 is 100% correct. Sassafras tea rules!!

“Gunpowder” green tea. I drink it in the morning and it really gets me going without giving me the jitters like energy drinks and coffee do. It doesn’t have much of a taste though. It is very mild yet very powerful. It is inexpensive and healthy for you too.
The tea that titillates my taste buds at the mo is Scarborough Fair Green Tea with Mint-yum
I love Queen Mary tea from this site.
Darjeeling green tea. Just tried it this morning and it is an instant favorite. Although, that probably has something to do with who gave it to me.
Rooibos tea. I love the taste, but it reminds me of wonderful times when I drink it..every time so that’s what I find so great about it.
Twinings Earl grey tea, and chai.
My favorite tea is this one from an Asian restaurant we went to last year. At first I did not know the name of the tea so I said to and asked the waitress, “This tea is so good. What kind of tea is it?”
She smiled then leaned towards me and whispered closely in my ear, “Hot tea”
And since then Hot Tea has been my favorite tea! :-)
I’d say chai.
But that’s also the generic name of tea for many different languages.
Bottom line I like perfectly steeped & sugared teas. Minus most herbal teas.
Masala chai. If I can’t have that, Earl Grey.
Dilmah Morroccan Mint, yummmoooo
The Asian in me says Green tea, the Scott-Irish in me says, “F*** that, gimme 10 pints of Guinness with 10 shots of Scotch, F*** them bloody redcoats and God shave the Queen!”
Trader Joe’s Earl Grey. TJ’s used to make a tea that they described as “chocolate tea” that actually had coconut in it. It was the best tea I ever tasted, but they stopped making it.
Earl Grey, English Breakfast, jasmine.
Green, White, Earl Grey, Jasmine Green, Flowers of Paradise Green.
You are all wrong! Just tea. No flavours.
A cup of is this:
Boiling water (not water that boiled 15 seconds or more ago. Boiling, ok?)
Tea bag in a mug with a white inside
Leave till it turns a nice brown colour. For me, not too dark – I can still make out the bottom of the mug. You are allowed variety in this.
Milk is usual.
Sugar if you must
Leave for a minute or so then enjoy.
Come round my house and I’ll make you a nice cuppa
Chamomile is my favorite.I’m growing some this year too.:)

I don’t drink tea, I prefer my coffee. Now the wife, that woman has teabags coming out of her ears. “Put the kettle on love, i’m choking for a brew!” Be carved on her gravestone i’m sure of it.
My mother is british. I grew up with afternoon tea with Annesley teacups, knitted tea cozies and she even has sterling sugar cube picker (one off my favorites tools she had, next to the soft boiled egg cutter lol). Sometimes I take her out for high tea somehwere nice. I love it. I love tea time :)
Green tea after a heavy meal. Chamomile tea as a sleep aid.
@pele Your mother sounds like my mother. A good high tea is a wondrous thing. Scones. clotted cream, strawberry jam and a nice cup of strong tea, mmmmmmm
@noelleptc Wow, never thought another good and funny joke could come out of those two words, Hot Tea. When mine happened, I managed to not laugh out loud but smiled knowing a joke bound to be classic dropped on my lap.
Why do Anarchists drink herbal tea?
All proper tea is theft.
Foojoy Oolong Tea. I bought a huge box of the stuff at my favorite Chinese restaurant and love it so much. It’s a nice way to start off my morning when I’m not in the mood for coffee.
Wow I must say all these weird names for tea could very well be combined into the lyrics of a nice funny song about tea!
@mazingerz88 Well in that case, I’ll throw in a vote for Lapsang Souchong tea! It has a very distinctive smoky flavor that you either love or hate. I love the smell of the dried leaves.
