What is this movie called ?

I don’t remember the name, but I saw it in film class and thought it was so interesting. I know the story is a woman(If I remember correctly) is working somewhere and she gets something hazardous on here. She works at a factory where there is lots of chemicals. She then gets infected with this poison/hazard/chemical on her, and they hose her down. That was all I remember :( I saw it in film class in middle school. We watched it after “Serpico”, and the movie looks like it was in the 70’s or 80
s. It looked really good.
