Ways to pull a loose back tooth out?

Asked by pcmonkey (427points) May 13th, 2011

Yes, its a baby. And by the way, its on the left side and is the one closest to the last one. The back part of it is hanging off and bleeding while the front is sort of deeply rooted in there. What are some ways that I can pull this out without causing me so much pain. Dont say tie it to a door because I’ve already tried that. Couldn’t go through with it. But anyway please help. It WILL come out today!!

Ask your mother to grab it with 2 fingers and rip it out, my neices and nephews always came to me for just that task and I always did the deed for them. It was quick and easy and the only thing they had was the fear once it was out they always said oh that wasn’t bad. Or if you go to your dentist for a cleaning he will do the same thing for you.

Another great thing that I would use when I was a kid was floss, I would wrap the floss around the tooth and kind of strangle it until it cut the roots but the ripping method worked quicker.

Eat a apple but be kinda careful about swallowing.

Are you saying it’s a deciduous tooth (baby tooth)? If your child is in pain with it, you should take him to the dentist and have it pulled. Otherwise, don’t worry. It’ll come out on its own…
