Do you prefer curled or flat leaf parsley?

I prefer flat leaf, myself.

Herringbone or box stitched parsely works for me.

I prefer flat leaf for cooking and curly leaf for decorating party trays.

Depends on the recipe. They have quite different flavors. I tend to agree with @tedibear .

I like “curly” because it grows so well in my lovely, rainy, mild place of origin (County Wicklow, Ireland). We always had pillow-ey clouds of it growing in our garden when I was little. I used to munch it straight off the stems while I dreamed of faeries and being the world’s most powerful dictator (No more rules!!!). I first heard about this strange stuff, “Italian flat-leaf”, from yuppie cookery shows during the Celtic Tiger. I was profoundly unimpressed.

Flat leaf has much more flavor. But I tend not to use it at all because it always spoils before I figure out what to do with it.
