Have you ever looked yourself in the eye in the mirror?

The obvious answer is probably yes.
There are thousands of times that we see ourselves in the mirror, but I am talking about really looking in your eyes and being aware that you see your person standing there.
I hope that makes sense?
What happened?
Were you satisfied? Sad? Frightened? Happy?
Something else?
Do you look away when you notice for a split second that you look at yourself (in the eye)? Or give in?
I remember that i looked myself in the eyes when i was in my parents shower some thirteen years ago and was shocked.
The realization of my then psychological state made me cry out and that was the start of working on my depression.
