Laura Linney, Helena Bonham Carter.
I’d have to say Anthony Hopkins is my favorite actor.
For an actress, I really don’t know.
Johnny Depp as an actor and Natalie Portman as an actress.
Actor: probably Michael Palin. I wish he’d done more dramatic work.
Actress: probably Helen Mirren
For movies Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson
for TV Fran Drescher, Charles Shaugnessy and Alan Alda
Tom Hanks and Jodie Foster
Michael Caine, Robert Redford, Julia Roberts, and Meryl Streep. Oh, and DeNiro.
Actor: Gary Oldman
Actress: Setsuko Hara
Hanks. I loved him cameo on 30 Rock the other week. “Clooney? Hanks.”
Uma Thurman and Robert DeNiro.
Tom Hanks
Julia Roberts
Hey, no fair @zenvelo…add those to my short list too
And..WTF…No Nicholson fans?
On a side note, my daughter gave me an oldies horror collection..diggin’ the old Bella Lagosi flilms.
Edward Norton- he’s crazy versatile and I love pretty much all his movies. He’s made so many intelligent choices. It seems like he doesn’t care about fame and treats acting as a craft.
Emma Thompson- She brings such a wise, dignified gravitas to her some of her roles (I’m thinking especially Howard’s End), but she’s still so sensual. She’s also not afraid to make fun of herself and be a silly character in Harry Potter.
Leonardo Dicaprio- he’s been doing all these troubled, fucked-up characters in the last few years and I love it. I just want his characters to keep popping pills and losing their grip on reality forever.
Julianne Moore- Okay, she’s just amazing. She elevates everything she’s in. She’s so talented and I have the biggest girly crush on her. Also, I practically jumped out of my seat and cheered when I saw her nipples in “The Kids are All Right.”
Oh…who’s the young actress in ‘Candy’? She was great!
I loved that movie, she was so perfectly manipulative and cool. lol
Robert De Niro
Gary Oldman
Adrian Brody
Audrey Tautou
Angelica Houston

Tom Hanks
Jack Nicholson
Helen Hunt

Barbra Streisand, Cher, Helena Bonham Carter, Julie Walters, Maggie Smith, Emma Thompson, Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders, Angelina Jolie, Meryl Streep, I’m sure there are more…
Anthony Hopkins, Dustin Hoffman, Michael Palin, Jack Nicholson, Robert De Niro, Tom Hanks, Michael Caine and Johnny Depp
Catherine Keener, Francis McDormand, and Maggie Smith.
Men? meh.
@Jude I love Catherine Keener! I just saw her in a little under-recognized indie called Please Give. Check it out if you haven’t already. :)
@Nessuh, will do. :) I had a massive crush on her in Malkovich.
@Jude Catherine Keener seems to be in everything. I watched both Into The Wild and Cyrus the other day. She happened to be in both movies. I do like her.
@jonsblond Into the Wild is one of my favorites. :) To me, Catherine is like a cuter (much cuter) Chrissie Hynde.
OMG! How could I leave my beloved Morgan Freeman off of my list from above.
Hangs her head in shame
Oh, loved Kathy Bates in ‘Misery’. One of my all time favorites!
I’m your number one fan! lol
How could none of you mention, DENZEL WASHINGTON?!??!! The greatest actor of all time, in my opinion! I would say him and Will Smith are my two favourite actors. I don’t really know who I would choose as my fave actress…
Just a few…

Rachael McAdams, Christina Ricci, Zhang Ziyi, Penelpe Cruz, and that very beautiful actress from Autumn in New York
