What do you want first, the good news or the bad news?
We have all heard, “I have good news and bad news”, what do you want first ??
How do you prefer your good news / bad news sandwich?
For me I want the bad news first so I can enjoy the good news fully.
Have you ever gotten such bad news on one that the good news didn’t matter?
Have you ever gotten such good news that the bad news really didn’t matter?

I would rather have the bad news first, so that the good news can be a bit of a consolation.
I would ask for the bad news first and like to be told in a direct, matter of fact way.I can’t stand wishy-washy BS.
I have have been on cloud nine before with some of the things I’ve heard and the bad things don’t really matter.I try to take care of problems as they arise.
I can handle alot.:)
I rather have the bad news first.
Bad news first of course.
I won’t even care about the good news until I heard the bad. It travels faster than good news anyways. I guess I think of it this way. I rather you punch me in the face and then kiss me, over you kissing me and then punching me.

Kind of a no brainer really, I mean get the bad shit out the way first, dismiss it as nonsense & then await the jollies!
It depends on the mood I’m in. If I’m already having a really bad day, I usually ask for the good news first so that I can have a little bit of an uplift before hearing more bad stuff. Otherwise, the bad news could just get me to a point that I get overwhelmed and the good news would get lost in my emotions. If I’m having an okay day or a good day, I take the bad news first because I figure I can handle it first and then the good news will help lighten the burden of the bad news.
Mmm…doesn’t really matter to me, it’s all reality, so, what’cha gonna do anyway? lol
An old man is at the doctor’s office. The doctor says “I have some bad news. You have cancer AND you have Alzheimer’s.” The old man says, “Phew, at least I don’t have cancer!”
I just asked my husband this question and he surprised me by asking for the good news first. I am a get-the-bad-news-out-of-the-way type like you.
I prefer the good news first. If I get the bad news last it tends to stick to my mind more and I can ponder solutions or what I have to do about it.
It doesn’t make much difference to me either way.
It always seems to work better/make more logical sense to tell the good news first then the bad news. Personally though, I would like the bad news first.
Bad News first so I can make the most out of the good news.
