What question on Fluther sparked the most surprisingly heated and -- in the end -- enjoyable discussion?

Asked by Hawaii_Jake (37734points) May 20th, 2011

For me, it was this question about art of all things. I was quite taken aback by how passionately some people felt about the subject. What seemed like a straightforward question was anything but.

Have you been involved in a lively discussion on Fluther that surprised and then entertained you?

@everephebe is right. That question was epic and I wish it hadn’t been deleted.

For me it was this question that I asked, also surprisingly about art. The argument raged for days, had nearly 400 responses and sparked numerous PMs.

Yep, I’m with @everephebe & @janbb

Usually though, I prefer to not get into to heated controversies, I’m more the cool whip lite type.

@janbb: Is metempsychosis too lofty a word to describe the phenomenon?
