What advice would you give to someone about to experience MDMA for the first time?
As a TOTALLY HYPOTHETICAL QUESTION WITH NO BASIS ON REAL EVENTS, do you have any suggestions on how to have a great, safe experience with MDMA (not an ecstasy pill including other narcotic agents)?

Don’t drink too much water. You really don’t need more than a gallon in an evening.
Also, do it in a safe environment with someone who’s done it before.
Third: enjoy.
Make sure you’re willing to be intimate with whoever you’re doing it with :-p
Don’t, under any circumstances, do it alone. Have a sober person for a control.
Just drink some water and feel the viiiiiiiiiiiibessssssss.
Eat some chocolate beforehand, not too much, just a few chunks. MDMA can lead to a queasy stomach when you first take it, the chocolate definitely helps.
Start slow, you can always take more.
If you value your nostrils, DO NOT SNORT it. It hurts like hell, and doesn’t last as long.
Don’t drink too much alcohol (a few drinks are OK, but don’t have a session) – it really doesn’t mix well with MDMA, and can lead to temporary confusion and making a complete arse of yourself. I’ve been there, done that, apologised/cringed in the morning
Have good music to dance to and wear comfortable shoes. You will probably want to move. Although you may find yourself deep in intimate conversation with someone the whole night instead. Me, I dance 80% of my nights out, jabber away the rest.
If you end up having sex, you’ll probably find it harder to orgasm (although its still mind-blowingly good).
Be prepared to feel a bit rubbish the day after. A day on the sofa in your jim-jams, eating comfort food and watching crap on the telly is just what the doctor ordered.
ENJOY!
Don’t. I came back home to find my housemate hanging out the bedroom window. He was asleep. Apparently he’d been declaring his love to the woman next door. Not everyone has such an extreme reaction, or so I’m told, but anyway
No one else was home at the time, and having to drag him to bed while he was suffering from paranoia… was… interesting.
