Now that the earth made it through yet another prediction of doom, What are you planning for the summer months?

I’m hoping to teach a few week long classes in the woods, maybe take a few camping trips of my own, and work on my garden a lot. Probably a fair amount of kayaking, too.

Just the usual humdrum of working, interrupted once in a while with happy moments with love ones. Until the next pointless end of days prediction arrives.

I am in the process of trying to find a good bargain on a new pool heater so we can use our pool this summer. We’ve been two years with a heater now, and it’s miserable.

@Uberwench Well, yeah. I would love to learn to French kiss while kayaking or something like that. Or how to live in the woods for a month and still look like a sex god…hmm.

Riding the golf cart down to the neighborhood pool a lot , and getting sunburned like last summer with a burn on my arm that turned into an itch that lasted six months. I scratched that arm for six months afterwards and my daughter never believed me. lol
Enjoying the new screened patio + windows. Yes, windows and screens. So it would really be a sunroom but it has no a/c / heating of its own so I guess it’s not a sunroom. :/ Go anywhere?

I’m planning on at least one backpacking trip in the Sierras. A trip to Seattle mixing business and pleasure. And I plan on my divorce finally being final.

@mazingerz88 Come over to the other side of the States for a visit, we have some awesome beaches in RI and we even have Waterfire if you happen to get lucky and get a date to bring to the romantic setting, where it is packed with people but still has plenty of little alcoves to duck into…if you get my drift ;) ;)

@jonsblond Sounds like a plan, I am planning a camping trip in August with my daughters near the beach. I also plan to do lots and lots of weekend and weekday trips to the beach. So much fun to hang at the ocean. My balcony garden is coming along really nicely as well, hopefully we will be enjoying some peas soon, we already got some spinach and lettuce.

I’m going to Washington DC, New York City, Nashville, and some other places, and I’m going to be giving a lot of guitar lessons and doing a lot of work. Oh, and at the end of the summer, I’m taking a weekend long roadtrip with one of my best lady friends up through Chicago and to Spring Green, Wisconsin, where we are going to go camp at Devil’s Lake and visit The House on the Rock.
