Do you like Justin Bieber?

I’ve never knowingly heard anything by him. I imagine I would hate it if I did, as I gather it’s rather synthetic music-by-numbers pop.

I saw the movie about him last night. He’s pretty good. It’s amazing how he started. Even at age 5 he was already looking like a star. Weird thing is that his audience is about 99% female and they know all the words to every song he ever made.

That “baby, oh” song is catchy, but no, not really.

I don’t hate him, but I find him to be a little bit boring and his songs are very formulaic and he doesn’t seem to be a musician. That “Baby” song is kind of cute and catchy, but it reminds me too much of that “Friday” song by Rebecca Black. (Note: Last week’s episode of Glee featured the cast singing “Friday” and now I really like it!)

While his music isn’t personally my taste, I don’t despise him. I think it’s cool that he’s making money by doing something he loves, and thus has my respect for living the dream.

I dislike him, very much. For one thing, his music is too simple and too similar, his rise to fame was based off of his connections with other stars, he isn’t a musician in the least, and I’ve heard from people who work at amphitheaters that he’s a spoiled prick. I’m not saying he completely lacks talent, though, it’s just he doesn’t have enough to justify his popularity while more than talented musicians are left underground. That’s detrimental! People take an arrogant amount of pride in being completely unknown, now!

I think he absolutely adorable. I don’t think much of his musical talent, but that isn’t what counts with his audience. With his reported attitude, I doubt his fame will last long.

I don’t get why there aren’t about a dozen of teen heartthrobs running around. We had so many to swoon over it was hard to keep them straight when I was a teen.

I was more into the folk stuff, The Kingston Trio, Mama’s and Papa’s and such. The Beach Boys were my all time favorite singers, and for looks or swoon value, Frankie Avalon.

I don’t like his music. However, as a person, I don’t dislike him. I hold him in a neutral position. I hate it when people say that they “hate” Justin Bieber. Did they meet him? Did he do something bad to them? No. Don’t base personalities off of mediocre musical talent.

Some of you don’t think he’s talented because you haven’t seen Never Say Never. He’s a really talented musician, he started playing the drums when he was 2 years old. And he taught himself how to play all the instruments. Piano, trumpets, guitar, drums.

On a par with white dog shite! Don’t want to see/smell or have it within my range. Other than that, I pay no mind to it at all.

He’s a pretty lady!
