“Minority” by Green Day. That one popped right into my head…I love that song. :)
We Don’t Need No Education – Pink Floyd
We’re Not Gonna Take It – Twisted Sister
Subdivisions – Rush
Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm – Crash Test Dummies
There is another version of this tune…. ;)
Kermit the Frog’s: It Isn’t Easy Being Green
Bad Reputation by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts is a favourite of mine.
The old self-congratulating anthem, Frank Sinatra “I Did It My Way”
Whenever someone mentions Sinatra’s signature tune, I have to give a nod toward Sammy because his I’ve Gotta Me—a wonderful nonconformist piece—moves me more (but I am openly biased in the favour of this member of the Rat Pack.)
The Middle by Jimmy Eat World is a good one. It’s affirming about feeling different, anyway.
“The Times They are a-Changin’”——-Bob Dylan
“School’s Out for Summer”——-Alice Cooper
“My Generation”——-The Who
“Psychosocial”——-Slipknot
“Revolution”——-The Beatles
