I hear the Navy is all about taking care of your family.

My aunt and uncle met in the Air Force. They both went in with advanced degrees and had a good time. I think it was about 20 years they served and they live a very comfortable life on their pension. I think the retirement requirements are different now.

From what I gather they enjoyed their time and they retired by 45. She was a nurse and he was a social worker.

actually I’m thinkning of joining in a few weeks, the navy is family oriented and the last unit to go in the air force is 50–50 on going into wartime with deployment. Its not really about which infantry but what you choose to do, most have benefits for bringing ya family in, but u have to put ur time in first. Dont do any infantry or mp military police u can go to Iraq from any unit

My brother-in-law is a marine and they treat families well. I think all are very honorable. I definately give you props for joining.
