What training would the King Kong portrayed in "King Kong" (2005) need for his fight against the T. Rex?

He’s turning, he’s biting, he’s doing acrobatics, he’s taking care of damsel and dinosaur simultaneously.

I offer that extensive hand-to-hand close quarters combat training would be necessary to accomplish most of the portrayed actions.

Or if you prefer, I offer that King Kong was OVER anthropomorphised (or is it anthropomorphized??).

Here

Furthermore, there is something going on here on the subconscious level with mammals beating the dinosaurs for superiority.

There is also something cute about all of it. What really has teeth in this world is the forces of nature, not the living creatures. The fight between these living creatures is pretty laughable.

We know that dinosaurs were destroyed by nature, not by mammals that were essentially rodents at the time.

Now, mammals, primates that we are, with harnessed strengths much greater than King Kong, face similar problems that caused the greatest extinction.

I am not trying to draw this out too far, but what is clear is that King Kong was personified.

So what is it that is being said about us, since Kong must be some representation of us…I conjecture…

I’m thinking it’s all about footwork. Kong can easily out reach T. Rex, so his best strategy is to use his footwork to keep just out of Rex’s reach and wear him down with the continuous short jabs and throw in a bone jarring hook from time to time.

Wow, I would not have thought of it that way on my own, but you’re right, Kong fought humanlike. It seemed some sort of Greco Roman wrestling skills were used along with “Cirque du Soleil” style Kung Fu. They designed that fight to be so spectacular that it naturally veered toward far-out fiction. But then it’s fiction so-

Krav Maga or ninjitsu.

Next question. Who choreographed said fight?

I would say that Kong needs to study some Brazilian Jujitsu. As a matter of fact, one of the exercises I had to do was to defend myself with one hand “disabled”.
