What is your most favorite question you have asked in the last 12 months?

Asked by JLeslie (65789points) May 24th, 2011

Please provide a link to the question.

I am pretty sure a similar question was asked a while back, but it was for a favorite question of all time, so I said the last 12 months to change it a little. If you feel compelled to link an older question, because it was so fantabulous, no problem, go right ahead.

My favorite questions of mine always get modded. Asking questions is not my best thing. Though I think my favorite question is still the first, or one of the very first, questions I asked on Fluther and that is: Do you think Homer Simpson is a good father?

@lillycoyote My favorite of yours involves the strange smells of some ovens…

@JLeslie Btw, my favorite question of yours was the one about the “kind of glass you use for beverages, and whether it matters or not.” That has always been in the back of my mind, but I never spoke about it. ;)

I really like the direction this one took. I didn’t have anything to add to the ensuing argument, but it was kind of fun to watch.

This question is probably my personal favorite, though I am partial to this one as well.

What was this mystery food that I ate? because Fluther helped solve the mystery.

My oldest son was traveling to Germany for a student exchange trip and I asked the collective if there was a site that provided airline paths. I wanted to show my 7 year old daughter the flight path of her older brother’s adventure. I wasn’t as descriptive as I should have been with the question, but @whatthefluther gave me more than I asked for.

He helped me find a site that showed the actual flight in progress. I was relieved being able to watch the flight and know when my son landed safely, and my 7 year old daughter was a taught a lesson in geography.

this is why I love Fluther

I don’t have 12 months of history yet but my favorite was are you an adult because it’s a question I’ve actually worried about and the answers were wonderful.

@MyNewtBoobs ROFLMAO. Yes, exactly. Question modded. :-)

The butterfly net one. I know I just asked it today, but this is actually something that’s been haunting me for quite some time now.

I think the most fun thread and creative ideas came from asking if your user-name or avatar were an award here – what would it be?

As people are constantly joining, and changing the look of their avatars (and even user names) it should continue to provide a source of amusement in the future.

This one about things you do with food.

I would have probably put this question I asked that had you roasting the jelly above you, but some people didn’t like it. coughthemodscough.

I am sorry, the question I mentioned was well over a year old. Let me try this again: http://www.fluther.com/117550/who-wants-to-play-the-internet-challenge-game/.

I thought it was neat and I am surprised it has stalled for so long.

That’s a good one @erichw1504. I don’t know how I missed it.

I really liked Will I die if I eat this yogurt? because it had people planning my funeral. I just realized that I never updated it. Well, I ate the yogurt and didn’t die.

I also liked What kind of snob are you?. Just ‘cause.

Given that’s been nearly 12 months since I last asked a question my choice is pretty limited.
Can you suggest some alternatives to Removed by Fluther moderators?

This is my favorite silly one. What people come up with cracks me up so hard, that I really wish it were still going.

This is my favorite serious one, because I got a lot of uplifting comments and “love” from other jellies at a time when I desperately needed it.

Ooohhh, yeah! The one I asked about “Lurvewhores”. That one took on a life of it’s own.
