Check out your library (on-line). The libraries in my area have dowloadable audio books that you check out, just like real books. You don’t have to go to the library, you can just download at home. Same for e-books, as well.

Gutenberg.org has some audiobooks. A lot of the are machine-read (a crime against nature, but hey), but some of them are read by volunteers.

Check your local library (and its catalogue!) for so-called “full cast audio” books. That way, you don’t have Mr. Thunderous Bass Voice Esq. straining into falsetto to read Madame Soprano’s lines.

My mom drives 60+ miles 2x a day, so she likes to listen to audiobooks during the drive. She usually goes thru about 6 or 7 books a month, i only download them from Demonoid.me, it’s a private torrent community, but they have a huge collection that grows daily.
