For me, it would have to be this. The first frame and I’m done.

Right now, it’s this book
But I have a list of movies that do this to me each time. One of them is My Dog Skip
This scene in Imitation of Life does it to me everytime. I couldn’t find the funeral scene at the end of the movie.

Puff the Magic Dragon and the Christian the Lion video. :’(
The song Angels Among Us by Alabama. It became my song for my son while we were surviving single motherhood together during my early 20’s.
The song “Memory” from CATS.
The scene in Terms of Endearment where Debra Winger is dying and Shirley McLaine is running hysterically through the hospital trying to get meds for her and The Boxer by Simon and Garfunkel.
When Dobby from The Harry Potter Series dies :(
I started crying 27 seconds into the Baby Mine- Dumbo & His Mommy video that’s linked in Jude’s details.
Another story that has the same effect on me is ‘The Ugly Duckling’.
Sobriety.
@dverhey . . . total win. well played.
The scene in “Mr. Holland’s Opus” where he goes to his son’s school with his student orchestra and Mr. Holland signs and sings the John Lennon song, “Beautiful Boy,” to his son. Every time I see it, I cry. As well, when they play his symphony at the end, I tear up. And, ever since 9/11, I can’t sing the National Anthem any more. I don’t know why, I just can’t.
how many have teared up just reading this??!
