Is it just me, or are most jellies total movie buffs?
So there are usually a few “game” questions floating around. Many of them are only answered by a handful of people. But ask a question about movies, and WHAM! Everybody’s on it!
Has anyone else noticed this? Am I imagining things, or is it fairly accurate to say that most of us on this sight really enjoy watching and talking about movies?

Maybe, or it could just be sites like IMDB that provide us with lists of movies.
I think most people love movies and music. It’s pretty universal. We may not all love the same kind of movies and music, but I don’t think I’ve ever met a person that said “I hate music!” or “I hate movies!”
That would be pretty unusual.
I freaking LURVE that answer!!!
I am not a movie buff like my husband is (never play Silver Screen Edition of trivial Pursuit with him), but I like movies. I don’t experience them often in theaters, but when I do I enjoy them.
It’s just @bob_. As usual.
I’m not that into movies… but I know what you mean.
I must be in the minority then. I like movies, but I mostly stick to a handful of nerdy ones.
No…....quite a few but not many…..few could answer this maybe they didn’t see the question but it seems that maybe they have not seen enough movies to make those referential connections.
I studied film in college and can’t help myself on movie questions!! Cruiser cat-nip! More movie game questions please! XD
Shoot, I studied film instead of college, and I like ‘em, too.
@FutureMemory you are such a brat. I mean that in the sweetest possible way.
My brother studied film in college, so he’s a huge movie buff and “expert.” It’s really fun to play name 10 “this or that” with my brother because he will come up will hilarious categories.
My folks and I are always kind of shocked and happily amazed when the Netflix movies arrive in the mail (even though we picked out the movies, but we always say, “Hey what’d we get?)
Tonight it’s “There’s a Girl in my Soup” with Peter Sellers and Goldie Hawn. Last week it was Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, so we’re all over the map.
I like to think that I am a buff in the ways of good movies, and some exploitative and so-bad-they’re-good ones!
I think most people like movies. A true movie buff can do more than quote a Tarantino movie; they can discuss Eisenstein vs. DeMille. They can talk about Tod Browning, Fritz Lang, and Frank Capra. Those are the ones that have wasted much of their lives watching film, not movies.
Movies have long made their way into everyday society, and even when we know it’s just fiction and all, mostly, I think many find it easy to relate to certain elements, or at least, it’s easy on the imagination. I’m by far nothing of a movie expert, but aye, I sure do love them a lot. Especially horror, of course. Many others on here like movies as far as I can tell. But even then, you don’t have to be a movie buff to easily talk about them.
I’m not, I just like movies & seem to retain a load of random information at will.
I don’t think all jellies are film buffs, just the obssesed ones.
