Do you tip every person scrubbing/washing/drying? If not, who do you tip? How much?

Most car washes, in my city, have a tip box at the end of the line. After my car has been hand-dried and finished, I usually deposit about $3 dollars in the box. The tip money is divided equally at the end of the day.
Our place has a tip box and I put $2—$5 in the box.
I chose a place with a tip box specifically because I didn’t like the awkward moment with three people drying my car.
I put in $3 usually. If I don’t have singles, then $5. They always do a really good job.
I usually don’t tip machines. What would they buy with the money anyway?
A car-wash with real people who vac and dust the interior? Where are you, anyway?
Currently in Sicily. Soon to be back home in the good ol’ U.S. of A!
Don’t they have full-service car washes “near the Berkshires”?
@Poser: I found one place in N. Hadley, (MA) and one in Albany. $64 for interior detailing and $64 for exterior, plus almost a two-hour drive. I’ll stick to the garden hose and the Dust Buster.
I tip $5.
I tip $10 when they also hand wax.
I tip about the same for a Brazilian waxing. ;-)
