Is this a good deal for a laptop?

I saw a commercial by Best Buy offering a laptop with an Xbox 360. So, I went on the site and I am looking at this laptop that is $700. It’s an ASUS laptop that has an Intel Core i5 processor, 14’’ display, 6GB memory and 640GB hard drive. In the details it says college students get $200 off the laptop, which is the price of the Xbox 360 and that I can get them in a bundle. Do you feel this is a good deal?

The specs seem pretty good for a laptop in that price range.

I can’t comment on the xbox, but make sure that you’re not getting ripped off and getting charged more for the laptop + 360 than you would be for just the laptop elsewhere.

For an i5 with twice the RAM and hard drive space of my year-old Toshiba, I would say that it is a decent deal. I assume that the Xbox is one of the 4GB models for that price, correct?

@jerv Yeah, the Microsoft promotion is for the 4 GB xbox.
