What is a good restaurant in Ghent, Belgium?

Amatsu is a very good Japanese restaurant.

De Gekroonde Hoofden is a rib place. Very historic building. Good food.

Korenlei Twee has good food.

Trappistenhuis is the best beer bar in Ghent. Westvleteren is sometimes in stock, and I found Chimay Doree here as well. The bar is covered in beer decor. The staff was happy to help. Light snacks are served. This bar is close to the beguinage.

I asked somebody who lives in Ghent and he said: “Recommend them “De Jacob” on Vrijdagmarkt. One can during the week eat soup and steak for less than 10 euro if one asks for lunch menu.”
