I tried to install the free version of Avast on windows server 2008, but it says it’s not supported. The server version of avast has no free version. I have norton 360 that I could install (from a box with 3 computers supported) but I was kindof hoping to sell it to get some cash. Is there a free antivirus that will work well, or should I just throw norton in there?

Do you have microsoft security essentials?
I don’t really liek security essentials, and it’s not that good of a program. I like nortons we brower thing where it shows if the website is safe (same as avast does), and I need a programw ith good live protection.
I believe AVG works on 2008 and it really effective.
@TheIntern55 thanks, i’ll give it a try.
Also, have any idea how much I could sell norton internet security and norton utilities for?
Bah, AVG did work either so I’m just gonna use norton
F*CK, why isn’t a server version of windows recognized as windows grrr, norton is bust, avast is bust, avg is bust.
I use Avira myself. I no longer trust AVG and never trusted Norton
@jerv Tried Avira, didn’t work :( Everything says that it doesnt work on server OSes, I don’t get what the big difference is. All I have on it right now is security essentials, but i’d like something better.
