Can I group specific untitled things on my iPod?

Let me start by saying this is my first time using my iPod even though I have had it over a year.
I have downloaded a book. It does not show up with a title or artist (author) and each chapter is listed as Track 1, Track 2, Track 3 and so on.
There are two more books I want to put on there. How can I keep them separated so the chapters for each book will stay together? Also, can I name the album (group, whatever you call it) so I will know which book I am opening?

Yes, you can name it whatever you want. I don’t remember exactly how, but it’s the same basic process as renaming anything else on your computer.
You will probably have to do it through iTunes and you should be able to just select all the chapters from one book and group them, probably by right-clicking and selecting an option from the pop up menu.
Just do the same for each book and then you can rename the groups as the book title.
I’m not 100% positive that this will work, but it should.
Goodluck!
Add a playlist with the same title as the name of the book, then add all the tracks to the playlist. Repeat for other books. :)
I am not familiar with books, only music. But first I would try what @derekfnord wrote, try playlists.
Or you choose a bunch of items in iTunes (on your computer, not the iPod/iPhone), choose Get Info, and then fill in title, author, etc for the group.
And this is why I prefer Android; it has an actual file manager…
The easiest way to do it would be @derekfnord‘s suggestion and go with playlists. Doing it through iTunes may be a little easier than trying to do it on your iPod though.
A better way (though slightly trickier) is to go through iTunes and edit the tags on each “song” (chapter) to fill in the “artist” (author) and “album” (book); if you do that then it should automatically group them.
Like @jerv said, adding the tracks to a playlist is likely the easiest approach. But I also agree that the better approach – because it’s more correct and provides best flexibility – is to select all of the tracks, right-click and Get Info, and give them the same “album” (book) name. Then edit each track’s Get Info individually with the chapter’s actual names (if they have them).
The point is to put the descriptive info with the actual tracks… not just in some meta playlist. If you take the easy approach every time, you’ll end up with a lot of playlists and they’d be the only way to find what you’re looking for.
Hi Dear,
Surely you can do this, its not very difficult you can do this via itunes if you are familier with the Apple iPod . It is like you do in computer.
