Should this be reported or is this just bad business and customer service?
I have paid over $800.00 in garbage collection services for the last 3 years. Of the 15 payments due, I have been late 7 times. It is billed every two months. Last Tuesday morning they did not pick up my trash. I called them on Wednesday. They said I was overdue and they have changed their policy and stopped my service. I was 8 days late.
They did not even give me a call or any warning.
What gets me is that I have always paid. If they were to have a late fee I would have paid that also. Anyway, now I will have 2 weeks of garbage and yes I have changed carriers.
If this was any other bill, I would have gotten a coutesy call.
What do you think of this bad business practice? Yes, I was late on my bill.
