I think of every day as a good day, so when I look back, they are all good old days.
Rhetoric? I don’t understand what you mean by your question.
i like that steve. but when do they become “ol’ ”? ;)
syz: it was the closest thing to “rhetorical”
After five to ten years it seems for me.
I can remember when a Nickel candy bar, only cost a Dime
I miss the days when music on the radio didnt suck, I blame MTV. I sware if I hear one more “pop rock emo” song….............ugh!
These bands are creating a very annoying fan base overly emotional teens with way too tight of pants. You dont know how many times my friends and I have played “guess if that is a boy or a girl”.......they all look the same now….
I’m 20 and I still dont get it.
Yeah I miss the late 80’s when I was just a kid .The Disney channel was commercial free, with constant cartoons and MTV only played music videos.
I remember the days when Orange Julius was practically flowing from water fountains. I wish there was a green version called Leprechaun Julius.
I remember when “suck” wasn’t used except for something connecting straw and fluid. I remember when “awesome” meant ” filled with awe.” I remember when “hopefully” meant “full of hope” and was not synonymous with I, she, he, we hope.” I remember when bikes had three gears and you braked by dragging your saddle shoes on the ground. I remember when we had one black phone (with a dial), rented from the phone company, used by a family of five and that lasted for at least 45 years. I remember—-rim shot——radio dramas.
@gailc- What a nice picture you’ve just painted. Seeing a strip mall where there was once an orchard is kind of awful.
