Google Annoyance! Anyone experience this? How do I fix this?

Recently, I have noticed that Google has installed some sort of “intuitive feature”...or something similar. It’s &*# annoying.

I go to “Google” search box and type in the name of a particular site (for example: applesandorangesandgreenbananas or whatever). It immediately goes to the page where I see the exact site I need at the top, right? Then as I begin to move the cursor to click on the EXACT SITE I need (to enter it, that is)...it will immediately go to ANOTHER PAGE rather than stay on the page that has the site that I need to go into. So, then, I have to click on the arrow to go BACK to the previous Google search page to then click on the listing to go into the correct site.

It is absolutely maddening. Anyone know what this is all about? How can I stop this? argh x 1000
