So. What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

Here in Texas it’s 103 and sunny. I can’t believe I moved back to this dreadful climate. I want a cabin in the Grand Tetons for summer. How about your location? Are you suffering week after week like we are or basking in warm breezes?

My location is too bloody unpredictable.
One minute the sun was shining with no chance of rain, some moments later it’s pouring.
Sky’s clear now, about 18 degrees celcius.
90 degrees, humid, with storms possible tonight.
Thinking I need to move to the torso of the woods.
It’s a beautiful 81 degrees F or 27 to 28 degrees C with bright sunshine and just a few clouds for contrast.
70 and sunny in Eugene, Oregon. I should do some yardwork. It is pretty outside.
It’s absolutely perfect here at the base of the Rockies. Barely 70 with no wind! It’s frisbee golf weather – wish my friends didn’t have stupid jobs.
Right now,it is 76 and sunny.I will be getting a bike ride in soon as it is perfect for that:)
@Blueroses well, that encompasses a lot of towns but I love Loveland. Except in winter, of course. I also like Estes Park and Durango.
@Aster I’m 2 states further North on the Rockies now but I grew up near Estes Park. I don’t know how you can brave the TX heat. It’s not something I could ever adjust to.
Arizona, over 100 degrees from now until October, it’s really dreadful. Unless you can afford to get away from here often or you happen to live in the mountains or an exclusive community with lush grass, imported trees and water misters attached to the perimeter of your home, it’s feels like life gets sucked from your bones.
Just right for me!
SAN FRANCISCO
66° F
Partly Cloudy
Wind: North at 7.0 mph
Humidity: 58%
Visibility: 10.0 miles
Sunny, breezy 78 degrees and gonna take the boat out this evening for a nice cruise!
Too hot and muggy. I hate this. I want Winter.
I want to move BACK to San Francisco!
Neizvestnaya, I don’t blame you! lol
I loved San Francisco although when I was there crime was a rarity. And I loved the food, too.
@Blueroses I can’t brave the Texas heat. You suffer , feel grateful for central air, go swimming when it gets ‘down” to the eighties and await the perfect fall, winter and spring. It’s not as hot as central Texas for what that’s worth. Not worth much.
@Cruiser You’re fortunate because you not only have wonderful summers up there you also love snow. Lots of cold wind and snowfall. I remember the corn on the cob was fantastic in Chicago and the yards didn’t burn up like they do in Texas’ drought. Great city; great ‘burbs.
@Aster If you are in Texas I have to say you are tough! I visited my Grandfather in Abilene 18 years ago around July 4th and was convinced I had to be in hell.
We have had an amazingly cool June. ( Northern CA. Sierra Nevada foothills )
Has not broken 100 yet!
Yay! lol
We had 90 on Tues. & 93 yesterday, but prior to that weeks of low 70’s & low 80’s. Today and for the next week a return to 83–85.
Today is awesome, a few clouds going over, breezy and 79 degrees right now at almost 3pm.
I’m happy, I only have to water my plants and yard every other day when it stays in the low to mid 80’s. But…it’s coming, no way will we get out of July without getting over 100.
@Cruiser Tough? No way! You don’t have to be anything but indoors. LOL It’s 86 on the screen porch but it’s shaded so it’s very nice out there for six minutes. Is Abilene in west Texas? OMG if so it is unbearable there and not much greenery for obvious reasons. We have lots and lots of all kinds of trees even in the yard. This is simply not the place for an outdoor person in summer.
Hot and nasty. South Carolina is a hell hole when it comes to weather. It’s humid and sticky where I’m at.
It’s raining right now. It was fairly nice out earlier today though. I’m hoping for more sun.
12C, but the sun is shining and it looks like there’s only a light breeze. Not at all unpleasant.
Today it is a beautiful winters day. I think the high was about 20 degrees celsius. The sky is blue. There is a light breeze. It is about 55% humidity according to the weather forecast site. It will get down to about 9 degrees celsius overnight. I have the fire going since it is now mid afternoon and it is getting a bit cooler.
Of course! No problem at all.
It’s summer. It’s 12C/54F. It’s raining. It’s…..Scotland
All four seasons in the one day, typical British summer time.
@ucme I’ve always liked that old saying that we don’t have a climate in Britain, just weather.
@Stinley Yeah, & don’t we just love to bang on about it?
@ucme We’ve had two conversations today already in my office about the weather. One about the rain and the other about the weather report not being accurate.
Good old dependable brits!
Humid and warm (85–95 degrees)
Sunny one minute, rainy the next.
Quite mild, around 19 degrees celcius.
So wet it’s raining inside.
We’re looking at a straight week of 90’s F, or 32 to 35 C. And humid.
It’s been a beautiful day. Not too hot. No rain. Going dark now and the temperature is dropping.
It’s been really mild and rainy for this area (high plains). No higher than low-80s… until the Weather Gods just realized “Hey, it’s July!” and flipped a switch. Now we’re seeing 100 every day. Bleh.
@Blueroses
Sounds like over here…slowly climbing again this week, 87 today and then peaking out in the low 90’s, for now. But..any day again, any day…...double ‘Bleh.’ ;-)
Where I live right now, just after 3 p.m. on Aug 2, 2015, conditions are:
Temperature: 94.8 degrees
Breeze: teasingly light
Sky: mostly sunny with some high, thin clouds
Relative humidity: 19%
Heat Index temperature: 89
Forecast for tomorrow: overcast with 20% chance of precipitation, high of 81
In short: nice
Hot ( low 90’s, going for high 80’s the next few days ) and freaking smokey from all the damn fires in the state. ( CA. ) Every day is a fresh new hell. Hurry up El Nino!
Warm and sunny yesterday. The washing dried on the line in about an hour. Today: back to this cool autumnal weather – it’s not right for AUGUST!
