Why is the text not showing up on Empire Total War?

My brother bought a CD-ROM game of Empire Total War, and for whatever “buttons” that show up on the screen, there is no text to go with it, and no options. How can this be fixed?

google ‘no text empire total war’, re-install, check the forums, ask customer service for what it’s worth, make a thread on the forum explaining your problem in detail with screenshots.

in that order. I’m hopeful you’ll find an answer or solution. Total War games are great so keep trying to fix it!

What are the specs of your computer?

From google it seems that most people having this problem have been using integrated graphics that aren’t supported by Empire Total War.
