It’s the hawaiian word for girl (i think).

Pinae? I thought a girl was “wahine”
there is another word that when I’ve heard it, sounds like ‘pinae’.
That’s pinay, and it’s Tagalog (one of several languages of the Phillippines); it is the feminine form of pinoy, which is slang for what filipinos call each other as a term of endearment.
You’re welcome; for those unfamiliar with the word it sounds like [pin-EYE].
