I wanna get as much Vitamin D as possible, preferably while riding my bike. I do want to get to Yosemite in the next couple weeks to see the falls, the rivers are huge this year. And I hope to get to the back country in August.
Contrary to the way it looks, I actually work for a living. I might get up to the lake for a week, but probably not much else, except hang out around the pool on sweltering days.
Renting a cabin in Wisconsin for the week in July and taking the boat to fish, ski, tube, sunset cruise, go-karting, hike and bike the North Woods and swing from the rafters with the wife and kids. Can’t wait to get out of Dodge.
My summer has been and will continue to be pretty jam packed.
- @bob_ just left on Saturday after visiting me for a week. We went gambling, went to a concert, visited an amusement park and visited San Francisco for two of his last days here.
- Today marks the first day of summer volleyball conditioning! I will help coach a high school varsity team throughout the summer as well as when the season begins. Then in November, club volleyball begins which I will be apart of as well, handling the administrative side of things and overseeing the progress of all of the teams.
- I will be tending to my first garden. I just planted everything over the weekend. Tomatoes, eggplant, squash, zucchini, bell peppers, cucumbers, cantaloupe, watermelon, carrots, radishes, green onions, serrano peppers and more. I can’t wait to make all of the veggie smoothies I can with ‘em.
- And last but not least, I will be visiting @lucillelucillelucille for two weeks beginning July 12th! YAY. :)
My garden is coming well. I can’t wait for the first tomato. I’ve got 8 days coming up in Lake Placid. I hope it’s warm so lots of swimming and boating.
1. I’ve started eating healthier, working out more, and taking fiber to avoid being a fatass.
2. I’m going camping here in a week or so.
3. I just got back from Key West and Cozumel.
4. I’m gonna blow some shit up on July 4
5. In August, I’m going to the House on the Rock in Wisconsin with my best ladyfriend, and then to Chicago and some other places. That’s what I’m really looking forward to.
6. I was going to NYC, but that’s scrubbed now.
@Adirondackwannabe: Let me know when your trip to LP will take place. I may ask you to boat by my former camp on the lake, if you’re in the mood.
My plans are to stay right here and enjoy the little piece of heaven I have created. The area is filled with first-rate music, dance, movies, galleries, restaurants, theater and antiques. There is a beautiful large pond with a life guard one mile away and you can buy fresh corn there too.
Today, for example, looks very much like this.

1. Get a job on the East Coast.
2. Find a great apartment.
3. Go on a babymoon.
4. Party.
Yeah sleeping to catch up with all that I lost during the spring .. and maybe some excursions.
@Cruiser I resemble that comment ;)
So far, we haven’t had much sun and it still feels like early spring here. Yet another day of storms headed our way. As soon as it is sunny for more than one day (or at least done raining) I need to paint a garden playhouse for my son’s b-day. all of the paint I put on yesterday rained off
I will mow, garden, weed and continue that cycle into November ;0)
@SpatzieLover You must live in the midwest as we have had non-stop rain and getting more T-storms tonight! My yard is drowning from all this rain! Garden looks amazing though!
In Wisconsin…but not in a cabin in the U.P.
My lawn looks like it should have been mowed twice & I just mowed it a couple of days ago but, my daisies look happy!
Definitely going to Lake Tahoe and Yosemite…might be going to Brazil… :)
Boating, golfing,BBQ’s,V’s visit in a few weeks and a trip down south for a bit :)
I’m going to meet the only full-blood Klingon to be let into Star Fleet Academy. But you already knew that. ;)
Actually, this summer is going to be filled with conventions. Star Trek convention this weekend, Connecticon in July and GenCon in August. When I’m not being a complete nerd, I will be working, writing, cleaning up my apartment and hopefully getting a second job. :)
Trying to put together a zombie apocalypse survival class. I’m thinking a five day course.
@erichw1504 I’ll let everyone know when I figure out where I’m doing it.
I’m going to start eating better, taking better care of my horses, save my money, live in the wilderness for an entire week by myself, going to follow my favorite band around the states, and dye my hair an insane color…..anyone want to help decide?
I already traveled a lot this past month or two. I don’t think I’ll be back in Europe anytime soon!
Steady lounging and Italy/Greece. If Greece is still there.
Trips to the lake for sailing, maybe some canoeing or kayaking.
Trips to the mountains for atv trail adventures and horseback riding.
Trips out of state to see friends and family.
Maybe hot air ballooning locally.
Work, mostly. A few trips to hang out in Montréal with friends have also been planned.
Job hunting
Packing to move house
3 weeks in France (yay!)
Moving
Unpacking
Job hunting
Not so confident the job hunting will be successful so entered it twice…
The most exciting thing I have planned is a trip to America. Can’t wait.
Last week I purchased a tiny cute little Suzuki carry van (exactly the same as the one in this pic, but not the actual one) and I am going to turn it into the cutest little camper van and go on holiday in Scotland with my dog for the last week of July! Very excited!
@harple I would love to travel round Scotland (my favourite place) in a camper van with my dogs. Lucky you!!
